At the core of Providence College — PC to those in the know — is the belief that faith and reason are complementary approaches to the discovery of truth. To emphasize and communicate this dual approach, visual elements of the PC brand lean on the concept of balance through the use of wordplay in typography and subject matter in photography.
GROW was tapped by PC as an external creative partner to help the communications department extend the brand message, producing print — yes, print materials — for various departments and programs throughout the college.
The challenge: to distinctly express the brand while also serving to communicate critical need-to-know information such as event specifics, schedules, and agendas. In a world dominated by digital, sometimes a physical piece is the best solution.
