Books and kids – two things that just naturally go together like cookies and milk or peanut butter and jelly. Courtney (Court) Bunfill knew how much books meant to kids, especially children with mental, physical and emotional special needs. Courtney was abruptly taken away by a tragic accident, and in her memory her family formed Court’s Kids, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting reading and literacy by distributing books and reading resources to schools and special needs programs.
When Grow was approached to create an identity for Court’s Kids, we enthusiastically said yes. We created a visual identity, including the logo that fulfills the organization’s friendly, approachable promise. We also developed simple, essential collateral and packaging tools that are easily and inexpensively produced. All of which is in keeping with the vision of this amazing young woman: to bring together a child and a book.
