“You can’t be all things to all people” is a saying we’re all familiar with. And it’s true – for people that is. Good design, however, crosses boundaries and speaks a universal language.
When Grow was approached by Cape Cod Healthcare, the leading provider of healthcare services for residents and visitors to Cape Cod, we understood we had to search for ideas that spoke to the widest array of people: patients of all ages, income levels and backgrounds, as well as employees, philanthropists and the healthcare community at large. We were asked to help create a comprehensive visual brand platform and a fresh new look, from which all communications would flow. And by all, we mean everything: from the community annual report and the website, to patient admission brochures, signage, campaigns, hospital menus and more.
Once the elements of our big idea were in place, we created a system to give one design look many uses. Our work was so well received that CCH’s philanthropic foundation asked us to support its team to create additional communications, including giving campaigns, support for annual fundraising events and ongoing donor communications.
So perhaps you can’t be all things to all people, but good design? That’s another story.
